The owner of this cockatiel sent me a video of their cockatiel yawning on cue. It's a great example of training a naturally performed behavior and puting it on cue

Yeh its a shame really. This is not a trick. He is just getting ready to have a nap and is clearing it's crop. They "yawn" repeatedly to clear the crop, sending semi-digested seed to the stomach.
