the mythbusters could use you for the "split an arrow" myth, from Robin Hood.

  i knew they just needed the right archer to do it.. also they were using big ass dowels instead of normal carbon fibre arrow shafts

- Actually,
  Mythbusters was trying to prove if it could have been done during the era of Robin Hood. Which is why they used the dowel rods, because the dowel rods were the closest match they could come up with for that type of arrow.
  
  It is still pretty cool to see it done for real!!

  this isnt what mythbusters were trying to do..
  use he could have been useful to them but the myth that was tested in the episode and then in the revisit.. was that they could split an arrow from tip to bottom.. in this video no split has been taken place.. its just fired into a hollow tube.. myth still busted!
