    ever break some plastic part or a handle ,Try your soldering iron to weld plastic it work great.make sure your filler matl. is of same density color etc {pvc use pvc/polypropalyne use you know}Use the flattened tip like a spade ,dig in get it thoroughly melted, mix in filler rod {about 1/8" dia.}It's slow going but with a little practice you can fix anything that's plastic. Try it good luck P.S. it's like heliarc welding

  • Soldering Gun

    If you have a Weller soldering gun, it comes with (or you can get) pre-made plastic cutting and welding tips for it. I have a 100/140W version of the gun and it works really well on heavy plastics. You might have trouble cutting heavy stuff with the 35W iron shown in this video.
