Photoshop Match Color (simple And Amazing Results)

When I use it 3 out of 4 times, I get weird colors - blue when I expect brown, as an example. And/or really over saturated. And when I try to use it in reverse, I get washed out duotones. If this is how it works, it's a lousy function. I'm using PS CS3.

how do you open more than 1 image in the same project?

Using match color is a cool technique, but it doesn't work for some pictures. Anyway your tutorial is great!!
