In Auzzie land, we routinely deflate tyres before driving on sand, and reinflate afterwards

It's well known...
...that All tyres should be deflated BEFORE attempting to drive on SAND. Would also help to have FRONT wheel hubs LOCKED. The front hubs were NOT locked in this video.

Basically, its the"camels hoof" principle; spread the weight over a larger area to prevent "sinking", and off you (carefully) go!
