next time why not buy some $60 jumper cables and cut the connectors off of them? What's wrong with connecting the alligator clips directly to the test leads and skip the destroyed extension cord?

Is it not enough to trick someone, without having them ruin a perfectly good extension cord?

Use scented candles, they provide a better power output, and remember to use a surge protector when hooking up your items to it as a flicker in the candle can blow your DVD player.
