Yeah your piston engines lick ass, unfortunately. I thought you said Skyline, sorry. Most of these rotory's that are running in the URL I posted were built pre-1985. So it's a shame that you have such faith in a modern piston engine. These cars are also technically only 1.3L as well....

uh...not to be rude or anything. but you can't diss a viper b/c it'll lose to a 1.3 l rotary, theres no comparison. Rotary engines don't rely on displacement for power.... the reason almost all MODERN cars are run on pistons is because rotary engines tend to break down a lot easier than piston, and they're harder to repair.

That's actually not true at all. it's because they're really bad for the environment mostly, and also because they're just not practical. Either way, they're better than pistons aside from when you have to rebuild them. If they're taken care of though, you almost never have to rebuild them.

The engine itself was built pre-1985, obviously rebuilt and tuned recently.
