kjmartin3 has a point. You are using the wrong tools to work on your guitar. Try using a 10mm nut driver rather than a pair of pliers on your tuning nuts. That's a great way to ruin them. Linseed oil is a better oil to use on the neck (fretboard).

I used to have that same piece of shiit git and I figure as soon as your done tightening up everything and about 5 min later everything will be f`d up again.
That is just what happens to a shiit git, You really should invest in a real git like a real flying V gibson or a Les Paul, My Les Paul needs work about 1nce a year and that is it with a quality git.
