Windows Messenger can get annoying and sometimes it can not be found in your Add/Remove programs. Here is a helpful trick to get rid of it. Note : If this method does not work please follow this step. Under the Run command type in "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove" and hit OK. This should get rid of it as well. Enjoy being messenger free!

  • here's a better way

    you can get a program called "what's running". it tell's you everything that is on your computer and if it is running or not and throught this program you can shut it off so you still have just in case and you can also delete it if you want. nothing technical about it. it works, it's free and it has no malware or shareware, it's freeware. it also takes you less than five minutes to set up. not to hard. and without the risk of doing the wrong thing.
