non liquid stump removers are almost always 100% potassium nitrate. If it doesnt say on the ingredients portion of the label there will be a caution label somewhere stating "contains potassium nitrate".

i put a spring in a back then put something in the front of it with a giant hole in the middle so when you light it,it moves forward as gets burned down

How do you use it?
Do you mold it to a rocket shape or compres it into the rocket tube and lite it?
Do you grind it up like powder and put into the rocket tube or what?

but i have a few questions...
what kind of syrup must be used?
and also, i did this the other day without the syrup tho, and i ended up with the stuff a little bit lighter in color than yours, and i put a clump and let it cool down, but it never fully got dry, it was still moldable and when i lit it it started to burn and then went out...did i not cook it long enough?

This is the propellant for sugar rockets.. well.. the video doesn't show how to make the fuel like i do.. i think my way is better, but same concept.. i made a few rockets like this that went out of sight high on a clear day. it was crazy
i'm thinking about showing how to make a rocket engine out of this fuel

I have to disagree. When making til rcandy with sucrose (ordinary sugar) the propellant gets really hygroscopic, and might have to be packed in alu-tape etc. to avoid making it soak water. Making rcandy with sorbitol or dextrose makes it much less hygroscopic, although it is more expensive. Adding 1% red iron oxide increases the burn rate significantly!
