    This horse is poetry in motion! He runs only to taunt the bull, he is not afraid at all. The communication between horse and rider is magnificent.
    I do not agree at all with the treatment of the bull, it's a terrible sport, but I can't take my eyes off the horse...he is beauty and power combined, his agility is amazing...

    this horse is one in a million. the rider thinks and horse is an extention of his body.fear? hardly,this horse would bolt. i dont agree with the bull being tortured at all. though i can appreciate the beauty of man and horse working so well. its not often a horse can run sideways at will. the jukes he makes on the bull are unbelievable.

  • Beautiful Horsemanship

    The only other horsemanship and one-ness between horse and rider has been the Lippazania Stallions. There is a certain poetry in motion and a fluid grace between them. I don't like the sport, however I applaude the skill and dedication of the rider.

    The horse is not only very well trained, but is one in a million! 20 years ago there was one like that in Portugal, named Ferrolho. I d'ont like bull fight, how do I remember the name of the horse? Because it was unique!!

      the communication is very good, and also, on top of that, with bull chasing the horse, it would scare the horse, and the rider, and the communication is still good! i have a horse, and i can see how much of a connection they have, its amazing. i dislike the sport very much though.

    As a rider I am amazed at the training and skill of the horse and rider. As a hairy assed man and former hunter, I can appreciate the macho part of this sport. And as a humanist it saddens and hurts to kill in the name of entertainment.

    This is just awful. I don't believe the horse is really "trained" but more in fear for its life. If you watch the movements of the horse, there is nothing that indicates it has actually been trained to move like this, but rather it is moving in whatever way it can to get the hell away from that bull. It's a beautiful horse and it's too bad that someday it will probably end up dead because of the owner's/rider's pure stupidity.

      I suppose if you aren't experienced with horses, you might think that he is running in fear, but he is not! He taunts the bull with his presence. A horse in fear would not move as he does, he moves this way through pure agility and training and he is MAGNIFICENT doing it! I am so moved as I watch this horse, he is amazing!

      I would guess that you have never ridden a horse. A horse running in fear would first ditch the weight on its back, and second run at full speed away from the bull, not linger just out of reach. This horse is so trusting of the rider on its back it is staying in a place that has it full of nervous energy, but not in a panic. You are looking at months, if not years of training.
