Snow storm ? Naaa, this polar bear is just cutting his fur.
Living in Southern Ontario I also know what polar bears are capable of. They provide great shelter when it's cold and windy out. All you have to do is walk beside them whereever you go or stuff one in the doorway of your igloo. Keeping one as a pet saves a pile of money from time to time as well. Why call a two truck when they can easily pull a car out of a ditch and bring it home for you. They also make great mechanics for any repairs as well as the saving of a jack by simply lifting up the car for you. As "rabbitc" pointed out, the possibilities are endless with these incredible animals.
By bloodhound114 1142453262 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI was especially upset when I had to give up my bear a few years ago. Unfortunately, the feed alone was costing me thousands despite the fact that she ('Nanook') was quite happy in the garage of my Hamilton home. It's so expensive to take care of P.Bears now - as you know - and my winter towing bills were definitely much higher after I had to give her up.
By rabbitc 1142503532 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm about a two hour trip by dog sled away from you, not far from Goderich. As you've probably heard, there's quite a few new windmills going up around this area. I was particularily impressed with watching how well these bears can stand guard for long periods of time. The maintainance will be left to them because of their incredible climbing abilities making it much safer for all. Not being all that far from Bruce nuclear it is especially important to keep many bears around with what appear to be "critter cams" strapped to their back. Those cams are actually missiles. Those phones you mentioned earlier also have a second button on the back to fire these.
By bloodhound114 1142557322 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMy pet polar bear in Pheonix Arizona just shaves his fur daily and drinks lemonade during the day and a nice cold Budweiser at night. I remember when we went to Vegas once, he shaved and started dancing with the strippers, then he was doing the Can-Can. Polar Bears are native to Pheonix Arizona and just moved to colder locations for a little bit of change in their lives.
By smexybear 1144463681 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewho was "bi-polar". He'd have done this and then given you a close shave as well. :O))))

By klfagsflgj 1142425610 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm amazed at the ignorance of people here. This is a real polar bear doing what polar bears do - use the tools available to them. As a Canadian who has toured the arctic, I have had the chance to observe an animal which rivals dolphins and chimpanzees for intelligence. Native Artic dwellers have been training Polar bears to plow driveways (using a nose-mounted shovel) and taxi children to school on their backs for centuries. Polar bears are very quick to learn new tools and manipulate them for their own use. The Canadian Mounted Police are currently doing a research project employing deep arctic polar bears to conduct military patrols. The bears are equpped with satellite phones and if they see anything strange, they press a specially designed button on the phone and grunt 5-6 times until the monitoring station acknowledges and rewards the bear by releasing a tidbit hatch on the phone. They most certainly the most intelligent of the animal species. Please show some respect.
By rabbitc 1142429795 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMy own Polar Bear, regularly shaved his hair. The London climate being just too much for him. Although he couldn't ever actually tell me when he needed the clippers. I always knew. he'd sit in the conservatory, fanning himself with one of the dogs and mopping his sweating brow with my husband. I would think. "Aha! its getting too bloody hot for poor Frank and get out the clippers" We use the fur clippings to restuff the sofa. Bless. I really miss Frank....
By Guzelynda 1143500831 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBut still, isn't it strange for such an intelligent animal to trim its fur in the freezing cold?
By the sea 1142455159 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMan you crack me up! :D
Coming from the north of Norway, I've hear my share of polar bear myths (despite the fact that there are no polar bears on the norwegian mainland)
Those were new to me though :D
Cheers
