On my last day of safari in Kenya, I went on a solo jeep ride with a guide who was also on the anti poaching unit. Sometimes the Mara in Kenya can be crowded and the lions become a popular site. Since we were out while others were sleeping, we were quiet and lucky enough to see a lion cub nursing with its mother.
Lions are a threatened species listed as "Vulnerable."
Lion bones 2 million years old have been found in Africa and sadly their population has almost declined 50% since the 1980's. (Due to habitat loss & hunting) Please support animal conservation. Thanks.

i've been to kenya and it's a really great place to visit...lotsa wildlife and great sceneries....and it leaves everyone with a once in a lifetime experience kinda feeling...
