California juvenile law attorney Michael McGlinn discusses a very sensitive issue and gives every father 3 helpful tips to remember when they take an active role in a young child’s life.
It’s disturbing to think of, but there are young children in this country being abused every single day. But along with that, there are fathers out there being accused of things they did not do. As a father you need to be very well aware of situations that may be deemed as unnatural or unsafe for a child, even if you had the best intentions. Be careful in what you say or do around a child that might be misconstrued in an easy way. Never sleep in the same bed as child and don’t be involved in any discipline of a child that leaves bruises. Allegations can spread very quickly and ruin a person’s career, life, and family. It’s important to protect yourself and not get involved in situations that may lead to trouble.
