it's all rubbish
Cricket !!! now there is a proper game. so much more civilised, you get to drink tea halfway through and a match can last five days, with the final score being a draw. nobody HAS to win.

  american 'football' is best described as 'rugby with lots of protective clothing'.
  having said that though, it might be interesting for an american football team (protected only by their cotton shirt and shorts) to play a game of rugby against a professional rugby team, just to find out and thus to be better able to judge.
