    this is a used car, its not much more worth than a Zonda or a Enzo (You can buy those F1 cars for about 2,5 million Euros..)... and its not like that u have to be a test driver for driving this thing... its just like a big gokart, and any good Racing Driver could drive one of these... not as fast as an Grand prix pilot, but as an amateur u wouldnt see a difference

    Only top gear can do something such as getting an f1 car to do do a lap of their track. That program is brilliant and so what if the stig isn't always the same guy.

    it was allan mcnish a scotish driver u idiots that video was made after they fired him from the team he was the test driver for renault in 2003 and 2004 and he was the test driver for toyota in 2002 and by the way h kovalainen wasnt a renault test driver in 2004 he was in the world series nissan F**k u all u dont know S**t in the f1 lol hahahaha

      It pretty much accepted that the original Stig was Damon Hill... ex Renault driver, and that the more recent Stig(s) have also been ex Formula 1 drivers or test drivers.

      Im sure Renault wouldent mind too much letting an ex F1 driver take the old model for a spin before they bin it in exchange for a lot of promotion.

    i read somewhere that he was an ex f1 driver who had unfortunate luck with the team he signed for and ended racing touring cars and f3000

    Heikki Kovalainen wasnt the test driver for renault in 2004, you ignorant hick, he took over testing roles in 05 and became test/ third driver for renault f1 in 06. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU GO SHOOTING YOUR MOUTH OFF!

    The Renault is being driven by the Renault test driver, Heikki Kovalainen. Apparently this isn't the first time they've dressed up another driver to look like the Stig. Too bad really, it would be really awesome if it was TopGear's driver everytime.
