If your background was wiped out like mi...
right click on an emty space of your background, click on view source.
highlight all of the text, and delete it. click file at the top right and click save, X out.
set a new background by going onto windows explorer and doing a picture search for whatever you want. right click on that picture, click on set as background.

good as new.
