By using the replied paid envelope inside, the retro-recipient has to pay and they make nothing out of it. This dosen't only apply to unsolicited CC offers but to ALL junk mail. If it's got a replied paid envelope in it send it back. They will eventually have to stop due to the economics of the deal. If it doesn't have a replied paid envelope then use it in the firplace to heat your house. Burns long and hot for a long time if you bundle it all up. If you don't have a fire place then shred it and recycle or compost it.

Every time i receive a credit card offer I send back an advertisment about my website. I use there own papers and just stamp on it the URL to my website the more people read it the more famous my website will be.

aedavis might not have said "it's not an eco issue" but to say that you dont have to make it an eco issue is saying that it is unimportant to him/her. I find that information valuable and am glad someone is out there thinking as you are and making it available to us. You have been nothing but a model metacafer and i always enjoy your contributions. If we were all in the same room saying these things instead of typing in anonymity i would have tripped ardavis down the stairs by the front door and pointed at ZackScott. To do everything it takes to get this stuff to your front door. Id rather have the CC companies use the money they spend and the energy they use going towards relief agencies and something worthwhile, or use the same wood to support Habitats for Humanity rather thancrap we don't need.

You never really know what you are going to get.. They change the APR on you once you apply or opt to transfer a balance.. I found a great website to really compare credit cards and find the right one for me.. It's called credXperts.com, they have the largest list of credit cards available on internet, over 200 cards!

This way they have to pay twice for the same material and you don't have to worry about disposing of it yourself.
