United Natural Foods, a distributor of organic and natural foods, recently completed one of the largest solar array system installations in Northern California with the help of American Capital Energy. Covering four acres of roof top space, this system is expected to generate 1.5 million kilowatt hours per year from the system, enough to power more than 226 average homes.
