I found this old 8mm tape I shot of the "Nine-O-Nine" B-17 landing at Mather field back in 1997 ( or 1998?). This was pre 911 so you could park right up to the runway ( That's my old Ford Ranger in one shot ) too bad I didn't have a better camera back then : ( .

      with the 91st bomb group in Bassingbourn, England. The original was flown back to the USA but later scrapped in Kingman , Arizona.
      This plane here was built on April 7th , 1945 and is shown today as the "Nine-O-Nine". In the 1950's this plane participated in 3 atomic bomb test. More details can be found at the above link.
