But anyways, Dave, thanks 4 the vid! You really cleared this up for me because I used to hit the string, rather than touch it. And i didnt even know about the 12 frets above thing, i just used the 12th fret. It's really awesome how much you can improve in 5 minutes.

First, I never knew about the 12 fret thing, i would tap around and it sounded cool sometimes, and other time it didnt ,and now i know why, my question is, I googled "touch harmonice" to play van halens mean streets, but i notice he doesnt follow the 12 fret rule, how does he get that sound? or does it just make for a different pitch if its not the 12 fret spread? Please help, i love that song and want to learn it
