Video will show you how to calculate the height of any tall object without having to climb it! (original music)
All you have to do is back away from the structure a good distance, and with a pencil, use it to create the effect that in your vision the pencil is as long as the structure. Keeping where your eraser touches the ground, piviot the pencil from a 90 degree angle to the ground. Wherever the tip is, measure the distance from that location and the base of the structure. That is the height of the tree.
Idk, easier math then triginometry, which most don't learn until middle school. But thats what calculatiors are for, right?
Geometry. Trig is sines, cosines, and tangents. This is just distances and lengths. People learn distances and lengths early in Elemetary school and relationships in sixth grade.
