    er, no.

    Purely guessing here but isn't it much more likely that the kind of patterns town planners use to fit streets into a given area are necessarily similar to the kind of patterns a plant has evolved to distribute its cells? Isn't what you are saying a bit like me looking at my fingerprints and saying "ooh how spooky they look like crop circles, aliens must have made my hands"

      Actually my intent was to get people to do some deep thinking, kind of like in the movie The Men in Black II where there are multiple types of life forms such as an entire micro-civilization of intelligent beings that Will Smith accidentally destroys their city, then to learn that our entire solar system is actually inside of a huge gym locker as if we are actually only tiny germs in a much larger world outside of our own. Just some fun thinking.
