gun control is ineffective
look at the statistics, gun control has been proven inefective, look at DC, the area with the strictest gun laws. and yet it has the highest murder rate. Gun control takes guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, and the criminals have other means to get guns which are not on record.

  if you outlaw guns only outlaws will have guns. Gun ownership is the single most effective deterent against violent crime. Use your head, if you were a criminal planning something and you knew that everyone in a town owned a gun, wouldn't you go and try your plan on some other town????
