EXXON MOBILE/ESSO is STILL funding Global Warming denial groups.

Exxon Mobile (aka ESSO aka Imperial Oil) continues to fund groups in the global warming denial community...policy centers and think tanks hard at work to confuse and misinform the public about global warming.

And to anyone critical of this video because you believe it can't do anything beyond hurt the poor gas station workers who have to clean up some mess, consider this:

not enough of the the public is aware of Exxon's denial funding activities. The media doesn't highlight it. Many people I mention it too dismissively accuse me of buying into "conspiracy theories", when in fact EXXON's funding of denial groups is an open fact fully evidenced in EXXON's own financial disclosures.

If this video causes action then the media will be forced to pay attention to the reasons listed within (greenpeace report, UCS report, Senators letter, etc.)

That would be progress.

And you better believe Exxon would react. Why?

Because many concientious people, once made aware of the reality of their behavior, will stop buying their product.

The majority of people are concerned about global warming and want it addressed. When the majority of people find out Exxon has been paying to confuse them about global warming, there will be hell to pay.
