Hints & Tips
The exact USB headset I used is a Gigaware headset sold at Radio Shack. When recording, turn off Automatic Gain Control in the sound control panel, and adjust your instrument volume until you get a good level. You can click Playthrough in most sound and music programs to even monitor as you play!

Cool and all but..
This is cool, but usually there is a really cheap preamp built into these USB MIC's. They are good enough for voice, but the preamp is not meant for music to be "CD Quality" if you will..

Nice idea tho!

I have seen USB Headphone and MIC combinations like this at the source for around 30 bux.
