God is merciful and energetic .He is undivided So can't be present in a single body But can feel ur feelings by his supreme energy.The kind of vibrations that created inside ur body is recognised by the God And finally he fullfills ur pray
This universe is only a part of him(According to Gita).His sense exists every where.So if u will worship a stone or ur parents as ur god then .He will also fullfill ur wish in that form.As The Great Gita has told that God is unique and only one He is beyond all religious boundaries.

Here glass is body and water is soul.When the soul comes out of body it belongs to Gods supreme energy and it's power become unlimited.But when it is inside body it's limited and stick to God's predefined rules and regulations and dependable upon the Supreme energy outside the body.

God is Great.And only one who has all the elligibility to get worship.In his presence , there is no chance of fraud humans.So get out of all this superstitions.
