Michael is from the Canadian province and is one of their top chefs. He is the leader of Slow Food Nova Scotia, sits on the board of Taste of Nova Scotia and is President of the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia.
In Nova Scotia you are never more than 35 miles from the sea, and with 4600 miles of coastline it should come as no surprise that seafood is their specialty.
It is less than 6 hours flying time from the UK, so it’s well worth making a trip there to try the food where it is freshest
