http://www.davidglatthornlaw.com On July 1st of 2012, all Florida car insurance policies saw changes. These changes even affect policies that were written before this date. In this video, West Palm Beach auto accident attorney David Glatthorn explains these three big changes that affect the PIP (Personal Injury Policy) section of your Florida auto policy. Following an accident, you now have only 14 days to seek initial medical care. For your injuries to be covered, a medical professional must state that you have an emergency medical condition, meaning your life or health is in danger from the injuries sustained in the accident. Finally, if you are able to receive PIP benefits for your injury, the insurance company now has the right to require you to give a statement under oath regarding the accident and your injuries. These are complex changes that you need to be aware of. If you have questions, contact David Glatthorn Law toll free at 866-413-5525.
