I wouldn't exactly say that 20 B-2 bombers is a line of defense. We could have given every kid in the USA a college education for twenty years for what these cost. Not exactly a wise investment.

the only reason we can win every conventional war is that we have the tech edge, and it just costs more and more... any other large counry could overunn us if we were at the same level as them, simply because we dont have a very large population considering our size. china has 1.5 billion... of course we're gonna trade 2 billion dolllars for an extra thousand lives.

There were wars before the B2. There will be wars after the B2. But, just like the US bombing of Japan actually stopped the war early and SAVED Japanese lives - the US has power that can STOP fights in their tracks. The B2 is just ONE example. You don't know about many of the others.

costs considerably less than a B2 bomber but it will kill you just as dead.
It has been produced in almost uncountable numbers along with the ammo.
With enough AK-47s in the hands of maniacs a B2 bomber is not really such a dangerous weapon.
