Massachusetts personal injury attorney Neil Crowley explains how we would prove your case in a court of law.

Most of normal people’s knowledge of the law comes from television and movies. While most of it is real legal terms, it is often confused or briefly mentioned so that you don’t fully understand the concept. Today’s video discusses proof beyond a reasonable doubt versus preponderance of evidence. This is very important in civil cases involving personal injury cases. With these types of cases, you must prove a preponderance of evidence. What this means is that you only need to show that you are more likely right than compared to the other person in your case. This is different than what you see on television and the movies, which is proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Those cases involve much more serious crimes and the accused must be proven guilty without a doubt. Watch the video now to learn more.
