Mystery Teaser Trailer For A Love Story

The following piece is teaser trailer I edited for an upcoming film written by Andy Davoli . The music is Frederic Chopin's 'Romance Larghetto', Second Movement from Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor, Opus 11. I love how the man and woman here express so much through their eyes. Humans love eye contact - it is friendly, and holding a gaze a bit longer than normal communicates interest, but stare too long and it becomes aggressive. Slowly blinking breaks up an aggressive stare. Cats engage in "blink kissing" blinking in a slow and deliberate manner. Cats do this to communicate "I am not threatening you, you can relax". The cat often blinks in response and then acts in a self conscious way, perhaps fluffing itself up or grooming. I was conscious of this when I edited and made sure to capture the subtleties of nonverbal communication, and timed my cuts to emulate and the 'blink kiss'. You get the idea.
