Mazda RX-3 Triple Turbo

dont the FD's (3rd gen rx-7) have 20b twin turbo's, and the FB's (first gen), some FC's (second gen), and FE's (RX8) have 13b's N/A?

As far as i know, the only (civilian) source for 3-rotor engines is the Cosmo. The FD RX-7 had twin turbo 13b.

they arent perfect, but yes they have less moving parts (not "olmost no moving parts"), there are still plenty. also, piston's can reach over 15,000 rpms (motorcycles, f-1 cars...etc). the biggest bennifit, i feel, is there compact size and low weight, allowing them to be placed in practically any part of the car (namely, to give the car a near 50/50 weight distribution), which then makes it a "bad mother" on track (i drive an rx8 and beat much higher classes in autocrosses)

and how much HP per liter do you have; HAH, my 1.3 liter STOCK rx8 makes around 200hp per liter! AND it's smooth (yes i've driven vettes with over 500hp on track and they are BEASTS...practically impossible to drive smoothely) And do you really drive slow enough to achieve those mpg readings?

this hasnt got a triple turbo and there is no such thing...and there is prolly more than 600 horses in that thing...its a triple rotor 13b maybe even 20b but im very sure its putting out alot more than 600hp

correction, the monaro was owned by GM, so they took the body, dropped a corvette engine in it, and then rebadged it because it has COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SUSPENSION AND ENGINE. Then they dropped and even more powerful corvette engine in it, and dropped the price of it significantly because the parts for the monaro are supplied by the USA. Also, you're a retard.

WE had the RX2 and Rx3 in the US....back in the early 70s!!! of course they existed, and still do here. They fell out of favor do to reliability of the apex seals. It wasn't until the late 70's when the RX-7 came to the US that America embraced the rotary. I almost bought one to rebuild as a hotrod back in 1984.

that's hilarious man. The holden 5l dates back to the 1970's or earlier and still has pushrods. The LS2 still has pushrods doesn't it? That's a joke. When is holden gonna catch up to 2006? At least Ford got rid of the pushrods in their V8s.

From factory....505 HP, titanium rods, forged crank, titanium intake valves, sodium filled exhaust valves, PUSHRODS...and 25-30 mpg....try that with a 4or6 banger

the rotary engine may have small displacement, but its fuel economy is shiat. furthermore, not all americans drive hummers.

this car is in australia pac performance have some of the fastest rotarys in the world i believe they have one in the 7 second club

the engine in it isnt uncommon in private airplanes because of their lightweight, power, and willingness to rev (rotary's are known to be one of the quickest revving engines)
