This is a guide about how to make a cup of a small branch and birch bark (or similar), only using a knife.

In some cases the bark can be too dry/stiff to make the fold. In that case leave it in water for 5-10 minutes before making the fold.

Using bark from a larger tree would, of course, give you a bigger cup.
