While we were driving home after our tea break, my wife and I spotted this unfortunate white hairless doggie. He was standing by the roadside, very skinny and has mange problem. I made a 'U' turn and parked my car across the road, got out from the car and walked towards this dog with food and water. He got a collar and a license so obviously he has a home. I am very upset with the owner on how he neglected his companion animal roaming on street without medical attention and food!Since the doggie was spotted in front of a house, I walked up and asked the owner to find out more.

At first I thought the doggie belongs to the family but no, the doggie actually belongs to the other neighbor. So I started digging more about why, how and since when this has happened. She told us the doggie has been kicked out from the house long time ago. She even told me it is useless to talk to them ( the owner ). I just wish our animal law in Malaysia is strict enough to put all these irresponsible owners and abusers behind jail for good.

I have 2 options here, one is to bring this doggie to local shelter where euthanasia is probably be carried out or on the other hand, I will bring him to my vet and cure him and after that find him a good home. Mmm....I will stick with number 2 if you ask me. Hopefully he will be there tomorrow. What surprise me more is why couldn't this lady that I talked to show some compassion or at least get some medicine for this doggie, I just don't understand, you know, she has a dog inside her house and she sees this cruelty and suffering infront of her everyday and do nothing about it.

    am a 43 yr old male and that is so cruel and sad , i have a german shepherd called angel, and the owners of the dog in the video should be hung drawn and quartered or imprisoned, that is just sheer cruelty , what has the poor dog done to them to deserve this sort of treatment? i hope that either you or some other desent people either took the dog in or got it some help......well done for feeding and helping

    I purely HATE these kind of cruel sons of wh*res that claim they are a least but human.
    They should burn in h*ll.

      for saving the drowning dog. This dog was spotted at Jalan P Ramlee, very close to the big big motorcycles shop. If you wanted to know more, visit my blog cos the next day video was rejected by metacafe and I don't know why.

It's not a question of money, even the poorest of poor would not let this happen to their pet. there are just evil people out there. My wife an I have rescued 10 + dogs that no one wanted over the last 15 years

      I have respect for you to save this poor animal. I just can't believe that someone can let a defenseless living thing suffer like this. It make me cry always. I have a dog and a cat at home and they are threat like princes.

      It is normal to feel that if I caugh someone hurting a poor animal, I would feel no pitty to kick his or her ass or even worse!!!

    I noticed this posting was a year ago what do you do if your in a hard place I know someone that neglects their dog, I have told them over and over to feed his dog or I would call someone to take him away, the thing is that the dog belongs to my son and his dad, I buy them dog food so he would be fed, but its pure laziness or don't really care I know my son does, he makes the effort I also bought the dog a tick collar because his dad refused to help my son remove them, if i call someone to take their dog away my son would hate me so I am in a tough situation so someone please give me some kind of advice I don't know what to do I refuse for that dog to die one day, I have 3 dogs and 3 cats they never been without a meal, they get their shots every year are very loved, I want to take the dog away but they wont give him up???????

    I think people who abuse animals are the lowest life form there is. People rarely can't find some way of defending themselves even if it's to scream for help. Animals show unconditional love and don't understand why they are being hurt. They only want to please you in exchange for some food and shelter. I am not a religious person but these people were sent by God however you see him/her. God Bless you for doing a very ultruistic and humane act. God damn those who did this or did nothing to help this dog. What comes around goes around.

    This world is cruel, harsh and very unforgiving. I think that by the look of his eyes that dog had just given up and was already dying when you fed it. I've seen the same look in the eyes of abused children and the homeless elderly. It breaks my heart. I took care of my wife for six months after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The hardest thing to do was for me to tell her it was OK to stop fighting and let go and that I knew she would never really leave me. She died in my arms with a kiss on her lips. What you are doing is nothing less than angelic and there is a great reward for such as you.

      for your lost. Really I am and I must agree it must be very hard.
      However regarding the dog I really started to feel bad and hit me real deep when people told me why didn't I bring him to the vet on the same day. I just thought he might able to hold on till next day. I was too late and I have to bare the pain inside me whenever I watched the video again and again and again.

    when i was 12 i found a similar puppy like that dog and i brought him home and fed him and cure. after a few months he start to grow new fur and became a happy dog.. so this dog can happy again if some1 out there with big heart could make it happen. Poor dog help him or let me know where he is and i'll come and get him. THanks

      please know more by reading my post on my blog. I am now working on how to bring this owner to justice. Unfortunately,sadly to say animal law is too weak in this country and th most he gets will be a slap on his hand.

      But I got plenty of so call 'hate mails' that I should have taken the dog straight away. Unfortunately I didn't and that has made me into a bad person. I thought he will survive for the next day but I was wrong and I have to live with that with the rest of my life. I reported to SPCA and according to them this is very hard to bring the owner to justice. I will try to bring this up tio higher authority if they fail.

    Animal cruelty laws everywhere are a joke. Here in the states, when some heartless monster does physical or emotional harm to an animal, the punishment is miniscule, if any punishment is given at all. Why can't laws against animal cruelty be a little more strict? How can a human being not see or feel(in their hearts) the hurt they inflict on these INNOCENT creatures?
