its good , but can u multiply 423x62 ? or any big number , we only have 10 fingers, and they also invented a machine calle calculator, but any way its good , not for adults but for kids . and itsnt bad :)

I know an easy way to multiply 9 by a number from 1-10. The way to do it is to first take the number other than 9 in the equation and subtract one from it. From that number figure out what number you need to add to get to nine and you'll get it.

Ex. 9x7 -One down from 7 is 6
-From 6 to get to 9 you need to
add 3.
-Put them side-by-side to get 63

However, I knew the 9x 1digit trick from the movie Stand And Deliver.

It worked for me every time I did it correctly. This could interest people in math by giving them a foothold on multiplication facts. I wonder, though, HOW DOES IT WORK? Why does it work?

I did what ya showed me....but when I multiplyed 9x9....I got 82....I know it's suposed to be 81...but I get 82. Thank god I got my hands slapped when I tried to multiply or add with my fingers when I was a kid!
