SB 3766 will hurt Illinois consumers and take us a step backward in clean energy. Ask governor Quinn to save us from special interest projects. The Leucadia, aka Chicago Clean Energy project will cost Illinois consumers billions while relying on dirty coal and pet coke for natural gas. Natural gas is currently at an all time low, if this bill continues Illinois consumers will be stuck paying a fixed rate well above market levels for the next 30 years. Governor Quinn has until 8/10 to veto the bill before it becomes law and you are stuck paying. Take action today before its too late.
