Canadian inventor John Hutchison is credited with the discovery of a highly-anomalous electromagnetic effect which causes the jellification of metals, spontaneous levitation of common substances, and other effects resulting from what is believed to be a very complex scalar-wave interaction between electromagnetic fields and matter.

  • FAKE Duh

"He later admitted to being "creative" with the footage, citing pressure from the Discovery Channel to create material for the show and an inability to reproduce the original effect, according to Tim Ventura of American Antigravity.[6] He states that he hasn't actually reproduced the effect since approximately 1991. The earlier levitation footage from the 1980s is genuine, he says, but this footage is often criticized for looking like it was taken in a booth with an upside-down camera to look as if gravity were negated.[7] He maintains that there is no fakery, and that the effect has been demonstrated in person many times, including the presence of scientists and members of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command."

Of course... when was the last time Canada went down in history or invented something amazing???? lol

Love Canada by the way, just pointing something out! Will say though, the CN tower is pretty cool... and nowhere else has the four seasons like this place... What have I said... man i love this place... but seriously... no history.

Maybe there was a good reason why nothing happened for military guys and further more the effect was never reproduced again...

  • this is 100% real

The Hutchison Effect is not one simple effect, buy an amomolous collection of several effects not yet understood. The Hutchison Effect is not always able to be reproduced, but it was in the video above (around 1979). For all you dumbasses who claim its a fake and dont know jack about physics, this effect requires the use of Tulsa Coils and a Van de Graaff generator (yes, these are real) which emit electromagnetic radiation. Go to american antigravity .com to read up about it. The Hutchison Effect can partially be explained by a pond metaphor. When two ripples on the surface of a pond meet, they form a temporary wave that is "stronger" than the two seperate waves combined. The same for the Hutchison Effect, which uses intense energy for these phenomena to occur. Also, some believe that the Hutchison Effect achieves Zero Point.

"It is surmised by some researchers that what Hutchison has done is tap into the Zero Point Energy. This energy gets
its name from the fact that it is evidenced by oscillations at zero degrees Kelvin, where supposedly all activity in an
atom ceases. The energy is associated with the spontaneous emission and annihilation of electrons and positrons coming
from what is called "the quantum vacuum." The density of the energy contained in the quantum vacuum is estimated by some at
ten to the thirteenth Joules per cubic centimeter, which is reportedly sufficient to boil off the Earth's oceans in a
    matter of moments.
Given access to such energies, it is small wonder that the Hutchison Effect produces such bizarre phenomena. At the
present time, the phenomena are difficult to reproduce with any regularity. The focus for the future, then, is first to increase the frequency of occurrence of the effects, then to achieve some degree of precision in their control.
The work is continuing at this time. Before long, we shall see what progress can be made."

this is at http://www. the very last page of the internet. com /other devices /hutchison /hutchison
    .htm

The evidence is right there for all you non believers. We still have not mastered physics, and dont be surprised if more discoveries like this are made (anti matter, anyone?). Peace out

    • you boob

It's not tulsa coil you boob, it's Tesla. I have a master's in electrical engineering and yes this clip is faked out to the max. A lot of different forms of video-editing effects were done to it; reverse motion, upside sets held props with electrical magnets and then switched off, metallic shards in wax for liquid props, etc.........

    • you know

i was beginning to doubt that anyone on here knew what they were talking about. wasnt this one of the bigger revealed frauds? yes its based on the zero point field theory but these videos are completely 100% bogus.

  • Wasn't Me

Nope it wasn't me who reported him to the police. I am going to introduce myself next time I see him and if he isn't aware of this video on here I think i will show it to him and have him comment personally. I'll try can't promise.

Yes this is old footage. The guy is a lot older now. He lives across the street from me in new Westminster British Columbia. I think I will introduce myself next time I see him.

    • It was still aged in this clip

I saw this same footage on another site, and it didn't have the lines or discoloration like it was old. Also some of this may be his origonal footage but that diet 7up bottle was not made before the mid 90's. when they swiced from making 2 pice bottles with the colored bottom glued on to the one pice ones with a molded bottom. Unless part of his effect is time travel

    • so was it you that called the police on ...

haha i just found this on the website that CoolSam posted..

'However, neighbors called local police to complain about Hutchison's experiment. It
is unclear whether something in their apartment levitated, although there is no other way
known at this time that they could have been aware of the levitation experiment that was
in progress. The neighbors in question live across the street from Hutchison'

  • out of place objects

This looks like an old video but the pop bottle is make in the current method, note it dosn't have the black bottom they did a few years ago, also note the lable on the bleach bottle and lid for the disposable plastic container. If this is real why did they try to make it look like it was made a long time ago.

  • That's how

That's how the first flying saucer's were made by the Nazis. They'd have an electromagnetic field created beneath the saucer. I saw it on a discovery channel show last week.

    That's pretty cool stuff though.

    • Im positive this is not fake.

It migh thave a few video efects because it has been edited by american antigravity crew....but you can easily find the original arround the web.
This man tapped into something amazing and you stupid assholes that basically dont know a shit about phisics start to criticise him about hes glasses and shit. ...lol. ...there is so many ignorant people arround here.....
In fact Hutchinson has been given authorization to restart his research last month and he was able to capture the effect on video again.
This guy has solid evidences of what he has been doing. And personaly i believe he is some kind of unknown genius that only future generations will be able to fully apretiate.
This video wasent made on the 90's but late 70's or 80's.. .. .im not shure but it it pretty old.
Before doing any comments on this everybody should go to american antigravity dot com and learn a bit about this aparatus.. ..and a bit about Nicola Tesla wouldnt hurt you either.
