    This is why smoking is called a RISK-factor. Smoking will greatly increase your chances for lung cancer as well as dozens of other ailments. Of course people are STILL going to get lung cancer. Cancer is a relentless thing that will unlikely be stopped. It can't be avoided. But doing stupid things like smoking five packs a day puts you that closer to death before 60.

      While smoking does increase a person's risk for lung cancer, I think you may have missed the point of this video. It focuses on Non-smokers who get lung cancer and the need to treat their type of cancer differently. 20% of people who get lung cancer have never smoked. Thanks for your feedback!
