Whats going on is that the memory card in the calculator is being disruted by the magents field of attaction. Each time the magnet gets close to the calculator the microsocpic binary switches in the memory card are misallinged by the magents field so the numiber is stored as the pattern created by each magnet's slightly different electo-magnetic field. When the magnet is replaced next to the calculator the memory binary switches aree again pulled out of allingment and are the same as when a number was entered.

I agree that it's an impressive clip, but I also agree that it's fake. Magnets do have memory, but this video doesn't prove it. A floppy disk or a video/audio tape, however, does prove it. Maybe if it wasn't so easy to cut frames than it'd be more believable. I know some people are saying that the magnets are triggering calculator functions, and though it's possible it's not likely.

This works because memory chips use magnets to record numbers and etc, thus the magnets pick up the magnetic signal for each number and its own magnetic structure gets altered, thus it "remembers" the numbers.

It is obvious that magnets do not have memory!
Calculators DO have a memory. When you tyoe a number, it is registered in the calculator´s memory, even if the numbre is deleted, it is kept in the memory, until you write a new number.
What the magnets do is to activate a function of the calculator, related to the memory, to show the numbers in the LCD screen.
This one does not deserve to be in the producers awards repertory.
