"Just because the graphics are better doesn't mean the game is better" What could be better than Dig Dig on the Atari 7800 ProSystem? Dig Dug doesn't rely on fancy graphics or futuristic gameplay to be fun. It just is fun. This awesome classic arcade smash hit from the 1980's is retro, old school video gaming at its finest. Dig Dug digs through the earth to get points, collect vegetables (and roots I think, like carrots) and kills bad guys with a bike pump. Dig Dug is such a great game it could be remade today for the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 video game consoles. You can also pick up a Dig Dug cartridge for the Atari 2600 VCS or get it with an original arcade stand up coin-op machine. Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The HD series is reviewing PS3, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. Xbox Live Arcade XBLA. Dig Dug was published by Namco.
