Gas Saving Tip

I think it will damage my cars, I have Toyota tercel 93 and Jaguar 91. Will this work? Has anyone really tried it?

That stuff you buy at the store, the gas saver and clog remover in the bottle has small amounts of acetone or xylene in them. The concentration he is recommending is about the max you would want to use. Any more could mess with the ratio so that the fuel does not function properly. Just like when you buy household cleaner they have small amounts of ammonia etc but pure ammonia works better.

I don't recommend that...It will cause rusting

Rust is caused by moisture/water being left on steel that has not been coated with enamel. Xylene and Acetone burn with the fuel. Fuel burns and those additives prevent excess moisture. The results are efficiency and it also cleans the valves that get clogged with pollution.

Metacafe does not have anything to do with oil.

there is ethonal in your gas, it will not work.

Higher octanes burn more efficiently.

it burns more efficiently at a higher compression. If your vehicle has a compression ratio of 9 to 1 or less it will not burn any differently. You are just wasting money. if you don't know your compression ratio just check you owners manual

we tried it on my dad's volvo S60, my mom's Audi A6, did no damage. im sure it wont hurt your car :] ethonal will though, ethonal [like E85] directly damages your engine. oh, by the way, this wont work if there is ethonal in your gas.

The average price for 64 ounces EACH of xylene and acetone is 17 USD so thats 34 USD. Together the ounces are 138. 138 divided by 2 is 69. So you will use the mixture 69 times. If your gas tank burns 30 miles per a gallon and it saves you two gallons you are saving that much 69 times versus the cost which initially was 34 USD. 69 X 3 = 207. 207-34 = 163. I might be off a little because I did it in my head but looks like about 160-170 dollars in savings with the subtraction of the initial cost of the product.

Try to stick an o-ring in a cup with the four ounce mixture and leave it in there for about three days. Tell us what happens. I don't have any o-rings. Also paint on vehicle has several layers of enamel. You have to rub it on really good for a long time while grinding it off. I have done some work on my paint before and even laquer thinner has little effect unless it is rubbed on there really hard.

Henry Ford had a lot of money invested in oil and he was slightly nuts. He actually had a civilization or village called Ford Land or something like that built in South America and lost millions of dollars because everybody went crazy. That would be equivilent to trillions now. He wanted people to use oil because he made money that way. Thats why!
