    first off....you need to be a real dumbass to think U.S actually invaided Iraq to "free" its people or to get rid of all the "WMD" ..which btw for those who are clueless, were never found...

    The only reason U.S ever did go to war with Iraq was for the oil, and for any one that's going to use the lame ((Why Iraq when other countries have more oil)) .. i'll tell you why.......

    Because other countries are already supplying U.S with Oil.....but since Saddam wasn't thinking of joining in.....Bush's Administration decided only way to get their hands on some Iraq Oil was to make up a story about finding (WMD) on Iraqy" soil........

    so they send tens of thousands of men and women, to fight a war they don't even know WHY started....and get killed for Oil

    guess that just goes to show their blood is WAAAAAAAAAY cheaper than Oil ...

      It would've cost less to negotiate and deal with Saddam if oil and money were the true goals of the U.S. in Iraq.

      But most ppl who spew this stuff are either highschoolers or idiots. I mean, not even CNN and other press are dumb enough (except for Al Jazeera, Figaro, the Guardian, etc.) to even suggest this anymore.

      Some basic economics and political science would do a lot to dispell all the garbage flying around...

      And I'm a Canadian - so I'm not some "Yankee warmongerer."

      If we're there for the oil, then lets take it. Why are we letting the Iraqi government sell the oil if we want it? Just the fact that hundreds of children were released from Saddam's prisons is enough proof for me. Stop reading the liberal press. There were WMD's found, but not at the levels we thought. Intelligence from such a regime, just like Cuba, is very sketchy.

      Why would the US secretivly allow oil sales from Iraq to neihbooring countries? Why has Iraq's oil output decreased years after the war? Wouldn't oil output be of the highest priority? While the US is working with the current Iraq goverment to increase it's oil output, this is to create revenue for the goverment and its peoples. The reconstruction, say what you will as there arent many ways to defend it, requires more iraqi help and oil revune to fund it.

      You have some valid info there. The reason for the secret sales is to keep insurgents from damaging pipelines. It's true that we need iraqi help for all aspects of protection of their country. However the must overcome the fear of not only them being killed, but their families being killed. Think about it. Wouldn't that be a tough decision for you?
