PR Newswire To Provide Grant To New York Cares

New York City and New Jersey based PR Newswire employees volunteer time as part of the company's 'Doing Well by Doing Good' initiative

New York Cares has been selected by PR Newswire's local office as the recipient of a cash grant and group volunteer hours, PR Newswire announced today.

As part of its 2007 Charitable Giving Program, 'Doing Well by Doing Good', PR Newswire employees select a charity, located in an area in which the company has substantial operations, for which they will volunteer as a group and to which the company will make a cash donation. New York Cares, an organization dedicated to meeting pressing community needs by mobilizing caring New Yorkers in volunteer service, was one of a few charities selected by PR Newswire's New York and New Jersey offices, and has already benefited from the volunteer efforts of local the company's local staff.
