I was willing
To donate $5, but you can't change that in the link. If you add that feature, you'll probably get even more money. I believe it's a good cause.

I wonder
I wonder if Paypal has any sort of account type that doesn't charge the extra 35 cents. It just feels wrong to donate an extra 35% simply to cover a Paypal fee.

  the paypal people won't waive their fee. I already asked them. I explained that this was for a charity and by not waiving the fee it would make paypal look bad but they obviously don't care (IMO) They want their .35 cents LOL

  my fund raiser you were donating to if you donate directly to another charity. We would have no way to track the progress. Our charity sponsor is the Greater Good Foundation not the Red Cross. We donated $80,500 to the Red Cross in the last fund raiser we did.
