not better than Arjen Robben (even though I hate him and chelsea). Messi has a one track mind (maybe due to age) get the ball and run to goal. Arjen Robben is alot more productive. Next, the Ronaldinho comparison is rediculous and must STOP. Ronaldinho has sick control, sick vision and you can see his mind working a way through the defense. There's way too many people searching for somebody better than Ronaldinho, without seeing how SOLID he is (better than Zidane, who gets much respect because of his oldguy-playing -better-than- youngsters look).
Robinho is a good player but he appears a bit too ambitious on the pitch (little skinny guy running around), but that's what brought him this far so props for that.
BUT Messi is better than Robben . Messi ha a one track get the ball and run to goal BECAUSE HE IS STRIKER but Robben is a play maker. I'm agree with you about RONALDINHO he is only good player not a Miracle and the good Defender can stop him Like MAKALELE-STAM-& Nesta . Very sad that Messi was not put in I think at all during the Germany game and Robinho barely any against France. Ive only seen about 1 or 2 games of each of these fanstatic players play but what I saw is that Robinho is fanstatic at getting at his defender and beating him and he adds a spark to his team and makes them play better and is great at dishing the ball out. Messi is maybe not as quick as Robinho in footskills but he always finds a brilliant pass to put his offender in a great position to score and he puts morale into his team. I think Robinho might be a little better as of now because of his skill on the ball and good playmaking and morale boosting. I personaly think Messi proably would have helped big time against Germany and most likely would ahve helped in beating them to. Robinho I feel the same about when he came in against France and helped them out big time in morale and scoring chances. Even Brazil played like crap the entire tournament Robinho proably would ahve helped and sent Brazil past France. ( Robinho and Ronaldo have better chemistry then with Adriano. Robinho and Ronaldo play on Real Madrid together) So in conclusion they are both great players with alot to learn but I agree completely Messi might be another Maradona Robinho might be another Pele or as I see it Ronaldo.

Both players are really talented, but to say they're they are the new pele and maradonna is complete and utter nonsense. Robinho hasn't acheived anything and has not reproduced the level of football since leaving Brazil. Fabegas is better than both!! he proved it against Real Madrid and will hopefully do it against his former club in the Champions League final. He can control the pace of a game, which is what Ronaldinho and Kaka do for their clubs. He slices defences with his passes - has more potential and possibly close to the Zidane that we knew 5 years ago.
