The close and direct link of this concept combining the new Sports Activity Coupe with innovative BMW ActiveHybrid technology ensures an authentic match of design and technology in every respect. Adrian van Hooydonk makes a case in point for form follows function: the rear underfloor panel which moves out when required and covers the tailpipes while driving on electric power only. Same applies for the engine compartment which comes with a powerful curvature at the top and a striking BMW powerdome that marks the hybrid components in the engine bay.
