  • Fast golf, But is not the Fastest I have...

    Also I feel Sorry For the driver! He think he is good, because he can over-taking all these Stock Performance Sport cars, While he is Driving a Tuned Golf. Is like Racing a WRC spec Rally car Against a Stock Sport AWD or Worst.

      i know a car which can pass this car. Bugatti Veyron 16/4 (1200 PS/ 6500 rpm). it goes up to 100 km/h in 2.9 second. And its maximum speed is 455 km/h. you can imagine how the golf driver will react when one of the bugatti driver would pass him.

    it seems to me that this video may have been speeded up a bit, fair enough its a fast car but, let me know if i am wrong, this seems like hockenheim circuit and it takes just about the same amount of time for the golf to do the straight as an F1 car. Although it may be a fast car i don't think that fast. It over takes the ferrari in a second when the ferrari probably has more power then the golf. And the golf's handling looks like it isn't half as good as it's 580hp would suggest. But you know i could be wrong.

    All of the wieners whom have shunned this Golf... are jealous. There's a reason that this car kicks ass. One... Power to weight ratio. The Veyron is stupid fast, but outweighs this car and only has a little more than a 1/3rd more HP.
    Find another driver with a Veyron to beat this car. I dare you!

    I know these people...they are doing a little bit tuning on VW's and Audi's and some other brands. But it is an absolute amteur-garage. The Golf is the best what they have and it is quiet fast, the 580hp are more 450-500hp and the engine is good for 10-15 mins on the track then it's dead. But for a hobbyracer to shock other cars in the range of 300-500 hp it's fun, but not more.
    The vid here is 1,5 times faster than normal, why???

    I drove my friends R32 from London to Amsterdam a few weeks ago, I can assure you I had far more fun in the R32 than I would have had in any Golf GTI be it the mark I, II, III, IV. Now I haven't driven the new mark V Golf GTI, but apparently that's meant to really really good. This CARPI Golf is just insane though!

    The ammout of work going into a MkIII GTi to make it that fast and keep it on the track is impressive. I bet the guy in the Ferrari was left a little flat after being passed by a hot hatch. I'd have to say that a R32 would be a better platform to handle those kind of HP figures.

      this car stack int alot, but when u start turbo charging engines it can expensive, check out the custom work under the hood of that thing. the interior was gutted, the engine was completely overhauled, and we dont have any idea how much money was put into limited slip, tcs, and asm. im gonna go out on a limb here and say this car probably costs more than the ferrari he passed. i personally think the ferrari is much better car...why?, because its probably stock, with lovely leather interior, great sound system, cup holders, seat warmers, amazing noise reduction and so on. i also think, if the owner of a ferrari put as much efort into his car as the dude with the vw did, it would be 100 times better

      yah the problem is that ferraris arent actually tunable, well theyre good born and bred and thats it. if u buy a ferrari you get the works and cant add anything else, well except sone body styling + leather seats weigh a ton

    If you take a R32 vs GTI, the R32 has more power, and nearly the same torque as the GTI. But if youre in to tuning the GTI has alot more potential. Considering it has a turbocharger and the R32 is a NA engine. Personally, I think the GTI is more fun, because its lighter and has more low end torque.
