what dont work????
when you clcik on "limit reservable badwith" active it a put zero, that's all;

what's wrong???? i did it with mine and it works, there is another way but you need to modify the registry. now the results depends on your connection, restart your computer

  Worked fine for me also. I am using windows XP pro. Went to the start menu and in the run box typed gpedit.msc hit enter went to the folder specified and set packet limiting to 0.
  
  If you do not see the run command under your start menu then you need to open your start menu properties and click the advanced settings scroll down and enable it.

Something else to speed it up
You can type "prefetch" in Run and delete the files that come up, i believe theyre temp Internet files, but im not sure if theres any reason not to do it ive doen it several times and i know it speeds up your connection

Are you ssure about this??
I ran gpedit.msc and it said it didn't exist. so then I did a search for the Group Policy Object Editor and that also did not exist. Any Ideas?

No "open run" in Vista Home Premium and no file called "gpedit.msc" is in Windows directory either.

  in xp there are two configuration ..
  i think what you clicking i the user configuration... u cant find the QoS packet scheduler.. but rather go to the computer configuration and enabled it then set it to 0. hope it can clear the question

  this works on avery windows
  
  XP all version, all vista, fo vista user the best is to get the ultimate version
