How do a cell phone and ethernet cable help your wireless signal? They're not realated at all, and they're on completely different frequencies. Otherwise, you'd be hearing some funky sounds...

Works!!!
Tried it with a 6 foot ethernet cable and a Motorola v262. Checked it 3 times in different locations on my property. It added 2 bars and 150' of range to my Buffalo wireless G. I am surprised, most of these "increase the range of" or "boost the strength of" ideas usually S**k This one is the first to be true that I have ever found.

- No, the "logic" is totally uns...
  Cell phones and 802.11 work on completely different frequencies and different modulation schemes, besides the fact that wrapping a cord around the cell phone would not do anything.
